The Norwegian Gem set sail for the first time in October 2007. This ship offers you everything you want from Freestyle Cruising: a wide range of restaurants, different bars and lounges and much more: relaxing in a jacuzzi, playing bowling, doing something exercise or simply relax sunbathing on deck. You have everything to make a "cruise at your own pace"!
Tampa, Florida’s third-largest city, sits on the north shore of Tampa Bay. The wider bay area has plenty of visitor attractions, but the standouts within the city are the revitalised historic district of Ybor City and a handful of downtown museums. The city centre offers lots to do, with easy access to the St. Pete Times Forum, a trolley link to Ybor City, the Tampa History Museum, Channelside shopping and entertainment district, and the University of Tampa. Tampa also has several good museums and the world‑class Florida Aquarium. It’s home to the Busch Gardens theme park and the Seminole gambling casino. Those interested in history and architecture should make time for the Ybor City and Hyde Park neighbourhoods. Tampa offers a bit of everything – beautiful weather and big-city attractions, all with a small-town feel.
